The choice to use gray is intentional; I like Grey ... can anyone remember that Blue Robot CSS - with the leaf? This was titled There's nothing wrong with Grey.
This is all based on the same principles of css everything can be modified.
This CSS was rejected.. I eventually found out why this happened - aesthetics.
Technically this CSS is sublime, it negates (completely) the old ways of tabular design. Because of this I have remained true to my responsibilities with the British Computer Society, and adhered the the W3C regulations, and the ethos of the Disability and Discrimination Act of 1995
I purposely did not present a aesthetically pleasing design; I hate people who just take over. However I did think my design could not be faulted from a technical point of view. Simply change the CSS to change the colors. positions, get rid of some boxes, change graphics.
Things to remember the Qualitative design of a site is not to be underestimated; working in an undeveloped group can be extremely difficult. CSS is not that easy for beginners; should have been more supportive toward the client's needs for maintenance - or argued a better case.
You've got to blatant sometimes.
You've got to support things which are of significance to your beliefs
Frustration is part of working in a democratic style group :)
Life is like a CSS box model - or so it has been suggested....
